The PK Pizza Stone is like the Charlize Theron of outdoor cookery. It makes everything near it hot and cheesy with a touch of smoke and danger. The PK Pizza Stone distributes the heat of your PK Grill evenly, absorbs excess moisture and creates a crisp crust on pizza and other baked goods.

It is safe for use in PK Grills, conventional ovens and (heaven forbid) microwave ovens. It can also be used to bake bread, bagels and rolls. The stone also conveys to your friends and family that you are an outdoor gourmet; a grill master who may or may not be secretly named Tony Pepperoni from Italy.

PK Grill - Built to last

THE ORIGINAL PK’S CONSTRUCTION IS RUST-PROOF

Your PK will be with you through decades of sunshine, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, disco music, you name it. PK grills produced before the moon landing are still cooking strong to this day, so buying a rust-proof aluminum PK saves you dollars in the long run.

THE ORIGINAL PK’S CONSTRUCTION ELIMINATES HOT SPOTS

Unlike other grills, the Original PK’s cook chamber is constructed entirely from aluminum. Aluminum conducts heat 4x more efficiently than steel, which means heat is dispersed evenly throughout the capsule. Say goodbye to expensive mistakes and hello to evenly cooked meats and veggies.

How the PK Grill Compares to the competition

GAS BRAAIS: Gas braais are convenient to switch on and off, but you won’t get that authentic flavour from a gas flame. The smokey taste imparted by burning wood or charcoal is what outdoor cooking is all about. Many gas braais are made from low-quality sheet metal components that can deteriorate or corrode over time. Spending R10k to R20k every few years to replace a rusted or broken gas braai can become quite costly.

PELLET BRAAIS: Pellet braais can offer a bit more flavor compared to gas braais, but they rely on mechanical augers to feed small pellets into the cooking chamber. These augers are prone to jamming and breaking, as are the electronic components needed to control their operation. Pellet braais require electricity to function, which makes them less portable. If you plan to use a pellet braai, forget about cooking at the campsite, beach, or tailgate without a generator.

KAMADO BRAAIS: Ceramic egg-shaped braais have gained popularity due to their excellent cooking performance. Unfortunately, kamado braais are constructed from porcelain, making them extremely heavy, delicate, and not very portable. Once a Kamado gets hot, it retains heat for an extended period, making it challenging to adjust the temperature. In contrast, a cast aluminum PK Braai can efficiently regulate temperature by adjusting vents and fuel.

OTHER CHARCOAL BRAAIS: So, if charcoal braais are the top choice for flavor, why settle for just any charcoal braai? Typical charcoal braais usually have only two vents, one on top for exhaust and another below. This limits your control over airflow and heat distribution. Many of these braais are poorly built and susceptible to rusting. The cost of replacing a rusted or broken braai every few years can add up over time. Invest in a PK Braai and enjoy worry-free grilling.
