And a classic recipe, adapted and changed to suit one’s style is the Chimichurri recipe.
Drizzled over steak, Lamb or smoked meat, this is bound to get your guests talking and asking for more.
Ingredients:
- 3 x cups finely chopped Italian parsley
- 1 x cup finely chopped coriander
- 3 x tbsp dried organum
- 1 x tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 x tbsp red wine vinegar
- 3 x tbsp crushed garlic
- 1 x tbsp smoked chili flakes
- 1 x cup olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste

Method:
Add all ingredients into a 500 ml mason jar, mix and store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. For increased hotness one can substitute the smoked chili flakes with a finely chopped fresh red chili.
