MeatRanger’s garlic and peppadew aioli sauce

Meat will always be the hero of the meal, however, sometimes one needs a quick dipping sauce to bring out the flavours and compliment well cooked meat. Here’s a quick dipping sauce recipe that pairs perfectly with chicken wings, butterflied chicken drumsticks, crostini or home-made deep-fried nacho chips.

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ x cup mayonnaise
• ½ x cup Greek yoghurt – Double cream
• 2 x tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 x tsp lemon zest
• 2 x tbsp finely crushed garlic
• 2 x tsp garlic powder
• 1 x tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 3 x tbsp finely chopped mild peppadews
• 1 x tbsp peppadew juice – directly from the bottle
